Our limited edition Replica M16A2 Stripped Lower Receiver is the heart of your M16 period replica build. These receivers have all the familiar markings from the mid 1980’s including period-correct serial numbers. These forged 7075-T6 aluminum are finish machined to mil-spec dimensions. Our lowers are compatible with standard AR15 components and are the absolute easiest to build on due to our unique features:

THREADED BOLT CATCH PIN

On standard mil-spec receivers, the bolt catch with a roll pin is the most difficult component to install. Not on our receiver – our included #6-32 threaded bolt catch pin makes installation simple and painless.

THREADED REAR TAKEDOWN PIN CAPTURE

On standard mil-spec receivers, the rear takedown pin’s detent and spring are held in place by the receiver plate. It’s a real pain to install. Not on our receiver – our included 4-40 set screw captures that detent and spring for easy installation of your end plate and end cap.

UPPER RECEIVER TENSIONING SCREW

On standard mil-spec receivers, the fit between upper and lower receivers can sometimes be a little loose causing annoying rattle. Our lower receivers come threaded to receive the included nylon-tipped tensioning screw to keep your rifle nice and quiet while stalking Charlie in the jungle brush.
